This is the mainpage of Anteater, this page has two URLs: http://anteater.drzoom.ch/ an http://anteater.sourceforge.net/. The project and the webpage is hosted by Sourceforge.

The Anteater project is a Mail Traffic Analyser. Anteater supports currently the logformat produced by Sendmail and by Postfix. The tool is written in 100% C++ and is very easy to customize. Input, output, and the analysis are modular class objects with a clear interface. There are eight useful analyse modules, writing the result in plain ASCII or HTML, to stdout or to files.

2004-01-15 Anteater website update (more)
I updated the website with links to the both URL's of the page. Further i removed some outdated links to the readme, changelog and the german documentation. The readme and changelog is still aviable via the download link.
2003-11-06 Anteater 0.4.5 released (more)
A new analysis "mfip" (mailcount from ip) was added. The postfix filter reduce duplicated mailtransfers with the message id, this filter reads also the ip of the client. Options to customize the html output are added and the --domain option accepts now multible domains. Some minor bugs are fixed too.
